Just the Bones

Six plane flights, 3 cities, 5 “meet-ups”. Two backpacks and one carry on. Old friends, new friends, old friends seen for the first time, acquaintances now friends. A mad range of accommodations, breathtaking sites and shared intimacies.  Train travel, bus rides, maps and miles walked.  Museums, galleries and parks perused.   Connections met, directions given and followed with varied outcomes.  Much beer and many lattes consumed. Laughter, giggles and guffaws.  Exposure to “old time” Australian country music. Amazing Aboriginal art. Beautiful “winter” weather. 700+ photos taken.

Fights, arguments and disagreements–ZERO.

All in all, one perfect trip with a burgeoning garden to welcome us home.

The whole thing–priceless.

We’re back!
