Haiku Monday – Rock Edifice

Serendipity is hosting this week’s Haiku Monday.  As always, she manages to come up with brilliant themes.  She is also so very kind to keep up with me and remind me to play.  Herewith are my two entries for this week, with photos, both taken by me (a decade apart).

1.

Standing stones puzzle
Cold clouds curl ’round ancient ground.
Step closer.  Time stops.

2.

Sad son Coonowrin
Broken neck for shirked duty.
Down under drama.
